The British Council, as a cultural associate of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), returns to the Conde Duque Cultural Centre to present the2017 BAFTA Short Film Nominees, a programme designed to promote the best British short films. The United Kingdom has a long tradition in producing short films and both the British Council and BAFTA are aware of the importance of seeking new audiences to support the diversity and talent of British film-makers.

The 2017 BAFTA Shorts Programme includes seven short films, with a total duration of approximately 90 minutes. The shorts are presented in original version with Spanish subtitles and are not suitable for children under the age of 16 years.
