The interest of young people in an industry, that of Fashion, which already accounts for 2.9% of the Spanish GDP, has grown enormously in recent years. The Asociación Creadores de Moda de España(ACME, Spanish fashion designers’ association), and the designers who form part of it have become tremendously involved with this reality, forming part of the teaching staff of prestigious fashion schools and participating in the rethinking of the academic offer.

Under construction. La moda que se enseña is an exhibition that shows a direct relationship between the inspiration of the teacher and the interpretation of the student. In it, the designers of ACME, who are also Fashion Design teachers, devise a creative dialogue with their pupils in order to give visibility to young talent on the occasion of the urban fashion festival Madrid es Moda (Madrid is Fashion). The following designers will participate on behalf of ACME: María Barros, Miguel Becer (ManéMané), Pilar Dalbat, García Madrid, Maya Hansen, Ana Locking, Ulises Mérida, Moisés Nieto, Rabaneda, Leyre Valiente and Juan Vidal. A unique exhibition to discover how the future of Spanish fashion is being built.
